Industrial Strength databases
We may try to install and work with one or more industrial strength databases. Under consideration are the following.
opentaps, an open source ERP system built on mysql and using JDBC and Java instead of ODBC access.
Fleet Manager, a proprietary fleet management system sold by ABS, the American Bureau of Shipping. It is built on mysql but there are currently unknown installation issues to be worked out.
